Our San Antonio office in particular is a real work horse. The quality and caliber of the work done there is second-to-none. San Antonio has one of the most productive yards in CRI; they cut and dead-end post-tension cable and run their own rebar fabrication line. They produce stirrups, corners bars, and 20/40 feet straight bar on-site.
All of our locations had humble beginnings and San Antonio was no exception. But growth necessitates growth and San Antonio’s current office on Eckhert Road is no longer big enough to support their needs. So they’re moving and with the move comes new opportunities.
San Antonio could move into an existing building, but Consolidated Reinforcement is a foundation reinforcement company. From top to bottom, we can engineer and build a new office on our own terms with our own people. We can customize everything to suit our particular needs and better service the builders of San Antonio. So that’s exactly what we did.
The first major steps were completed back in August when our crews installed the post-tension cable and then the concrete foundation was poured. The cement trucks rolled up in the early morning hours and crews were on-hand to begin pouring. Within a few hours the job was done and the concrete slab was poured.
The future is looking bright at Consolidated Reinforcement. We’re excited to see what new opportunities this office will provide and the folks in San Antonio are excited for the move. CRI is still growing and expanding after forty years; who knows what other changes might be right around the corner.
